Pulse Genesis Fund

Pulse Capital Partners, LLC was formed at the end of 2010. The Company was founded by Ibrahim Gharghour, Gary S. Long and Dr. Thomas Middelhoff.

Pulse has two lines of business:

1. seeding/accelerating next generation hedge funds; and

2. customizing portfolios of hedge fund investments for institutional investors.

Both businesses are anchored on managed accounts or managed account-like risk controls and transparency available from managed accounts.

The Fund is a multi-strategy CTA fund focused on next generation managers with established track records. The Fund is broadly diversified across markets, time horizon and geography. The Fund offers investors enhanced transparency and stringent risk controls through the pooled managed account structure.

The trading strategy of the Fund is predominantly systematic, with sub-trading advisors in the Fund executing strategies that are model-driven and quantitative in nature. While some strategies use fundamental inputs through their systematic approaches (e.g. USDA inventory report for agriculture, SPR report in energy, etc.), there are no fundamental discretionary or global macro strategies currently utilized in the Fund.
